With over ten years of professional experience as a film worker in Hollywood and almost twenty years as a director and filmmaker in Sweden, I am a solid and loyal partner in your film project. My name is Carl Edelhjelm and I can help you lead the whole project from

idea to finished film. I develop scripts, plan, produce and edit from start to finish, and nothing is done until everyone is completely satisfied.

Thanks to the digitalization, media production is available to all. Anyone can make a usable film with a mobile phone..

But this development has also changed how we perceive film. Technically advanced shots with special effects or drone flights no longer arouse automatic interest. Nowadays there is a desire för substance in the storytelling to affect the audience. That's why I belive in the proven methods with focus on dramaturgy, imagery, and not least the craftsmanship of filmmaking.

Solid experience, and professional pride through the entire production gives strenght to the project. A mindful script development,

a sensible story-board, real lighting, and a dramaturgically clear editing are ingredients that create an engaging film.

My own 4K camera gear and complete lighting-kit creates high production value and eliminates external rental cost

which allows for a flat-rate without budget surprises. A good start for a creative collaboration.
